Well, i watched 4400 & Band of Brothers be4.. liked those.
I'm not into western-series as Carnivale/deadwood looks like.
I guess i'm gonna start with Jericho, but I hate it when series end before the 'real ending'

heh same here, about the same age when I used to watch series like charmed (they were all on when I got home from school )

For some reason those just don't seem nearly as exciting as they used to nowadays

To add to that, if you're into that sort of thing, try Cosmos with Carl Sagan - it's a bit more outdated in terms of content, but Sagan is timeless.

'Lie To Me' has just started on Sky over here, watch the first ep and it was pretty cool!

Its detective/crime type stuff with a difference!

true but it's pretty much a new story every week, no cohesion in tehre.
just like the mentalist etc, good series but if you want a season-long story..

House is ofc another top series. But same story there.

well he says he doesnt enjoy prison break, 24 and Lost which in all fairness are all series like with no real stand-alone eps so I'm sure he's more than willing to try out House and Mentalist
