I just installed xp, and a 3rd party driver for me voodoo3, ut wount start and keeps crashing with a can't find voodoo2x.dll, tho I have a voodoo3x.dll, anyway to force ut to use this?

I tried downloading a 2x.dll from a dll site and place it in the right place, that just caused another error, I tried renaming me 3x to 2x, yet another error, now I'm running out of ideas...

Get rid of Xp m8.
I have installed XP twice now with my voodoo5500-used many 3rd party drivers and had it working fine in sporadic bursts.
But you do get problems a - plenty. Random lock-ups, graphical errors etc. Simple answer is if you got a Voodoo - dont install XP.
More trouble than its worth imo.

i had a V5 on XP and it ran fine


i used a driver from http://www.voodoofiles.com/


just make sure the downlaod is big enough (7 meg ish)

and it had the 3dfx tools and ut will run fine

they are 3rd party drivers that u have to get
