i was on another forum the other day , and suddenly, after i posted a reply, a log in screen came up, asking for login-name and password for UTassault forum!!

Problem here was yet another external linking of forum smilies to the other forum...
I'd just like to point out anyone using enternal links from other forums to this forums smilies, or any other content, or even from other sites to this forum can be exposed to this. As we have no control over external links, and the same applies to other sites linking here, anything can be served over those links, including password forms for restricted webspace.
Besides from that, its not very polite to use other sites bandwidth.. If possible i'd suggest that you always attach the image, as that will upload it to our own server, so we host it ourself.

That may be a cookie issue. You could try and delete all *.utassault.net and *.fraghub.net cookies, and login again at http://forums.utassault.net and see how you get on.Snuggs said:

ive had a similar thing before, called cookies accross domains. You need to add all relevent websites to a list in internet explorer (some versions) to allow them to get at the cookies.
internet options -> privicy -> (edit button for pre sp2 (xp) and sites button for post sp2)
put in forums.utassault.net (might just need utassault.net) and hit allow. You will also have to add the other urls your accessing forums through.
