Hi all :cool:

Few days ago ive watched this movie...2nd time in my life, because i remember, that when i was 12/13 years old i watched it too...and then it made a big impression at me...like few days ago...again :)

So my question, Have you watched this movie? What do you think about this...peculiarly 'comedy' about holocaust :rolleyes:

imo its 1 of the best movies ever, great story...and awesome main actor [and director in same person :)], just a beautiful movie... :D
 
Indeed, its a wonderful movie I would recommend :)

This man makes whatever he can to help the child and avoid that he be aware of whats happening. This actor is great!
 
Its a good movie in that it is well written, acted, etc.
But I just found it too boring/uninteresting.

j/k :P I watched it some time ago when i had a gf... It seems to be lacking pace to me, which made it boring...
the scene of the movie is classic though, just the mix of comedy/romance/war is worked out wrong on this one :x

I've watched this movie 3 or 4 times so far..really a good one..as popiul pointed out, war is just on the background of the story which seemed to me based on the struggle of a father to keep his son away and not aware of the war itself..and this struggle is done by him while all the spectators obviously know what's really happening, that is not the game the protagonist describes to his son..

so i must to check it ;)

and i agree to all positive comments about this movie and Benigni...he played very well, his jokes about this situation was so real, he looked so natural while he laught, but he knew true...

about comments, that its a boring movie...maybe it has some minuses...but 'Life is beautiful' isnt boring, all scenes make great plot...and without that it wasnt be so good like it is now :D

i've checked that, film isnt so good like Life is beautiful, but u are right...Benigni was awesome, when i watched this movie i've just wait for this scene...and i didnt disappoint :D
