No, there is no demo.
The alpha that you could download illegally is nothing more than a couple of levels without monsters, most weapons and is generally just a tech demo which was shown at last years E3.
Obviously there's a new one out which is playable. I wonder if this will be "leaked" like the first.

no demos for either game - there will be a demo of UT2 before U2.
I very much doubt that review is on a legit version of U2 - as soon as Legend find out about it it'll be taken down - so read it quick!
And as Des said locked! before people start offering the E3 build around.
