I saw a site somewhere with some physics students bebating this very thing.They concluded that the weakest link would be the machanism securing the toast to the cat and that it would break resulting in both the cat and the toast landing right side up.

So your theory is debunked:D
 
i think they went over that, i cant rememebr the site tho. Im sure hump does, sure looks like he knows:D
 
Cats dont always land on their feet both my cats have proved this over and over !!the obvious case of this is when they fall of the back of the sofa while they are sleeping!
