Ok you done done it all you l337 AS players. You managed to pull me all the way out of the realm of US CTF into this AS thing for one simple reason. I'm tired of hearing from my friend in ION about how everyone's so scared of ION that they gotta result to retarded measures to take away from their greatness.

I mean, picking and choosing new rules to enforce because ION spent countless hours perfecting tactics that none of you can hope to accomplish? How childish is that?

Letting a clan play ION 7v5 for even part of a match, and then refuse to see the evidence from ION to that effect? UGH!

This isnt a flame, this is just me wanting everyone to realize that ION is 30-0, and there's no way to stop them, especially not with cheesy rules or unfair practices. My advice would be either to work as hard as they do, then come back and try and actually beat them on a level playing field, or just realize there's no hope, and bow down to their greatness.

BUT STOP THE INSANITY! I'm tired of hearing about it!!! Lemme alone!!! I wanna play CTF!

im sorry, ive only been around for about a year so im not sure of what u are talking about. do u mean the rule that secures that ion gets their 4 matches every month?

What rules are you talking about? There's just been put a new rule in place with the express purpose of ensuring that clans can't hide from >ION< and the like..
And as for the Mi5 game that I'm sure you're referring to: Nobody produced any evidence AFAIK. And the league admins can't make a ruling based on one clan's testimony.. <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/images/emoticons/ohwell.gif ALT=":\">

ION produced as much evidence as possible, as it happens we anticipated that nobody would be too interested in the problems so we got on with making the best out of a bad job.

All I've seen Mi5 do is give promises of demos with Timo legging it without doing anything, promise after promise and nothing resulting from it.

Now since ION are the only people who have provided anything, and Mi5 have neither confirmed nor denied anything because they know it happened, then I think it's clear that ION are just being ignored because "it doesnt matter", and in a nutshell ION are being called liars.

I can live with this because ION have been the whipping boys for the league for so long anyway.

Are they spending countless hours to perfect their @!%# forward def too ? You are a CTF player, fine so now answer my question ! Is someone bitching at fooze, qb or even MC cause they are the best ? i dont think so.

I would hardly call 2 screenshots in the netwait great evidence, if the map had been runing, then we would of done more i expect. Bitch & Moan thats all anyone ever does.

not evryone bitches and moan, you just hear all the crap 'cuz ppl'll ussually speak up if they feel they've been treated unfair. Rarely do ppl speak up if they are satisfied... :/

What happened

In a nutshell, Mi5 brought on a 7th player just before Mazon was about to start, and stayed for while, stopping one ION from entering the match for part of the map (thus making it 7 Mi5 vs 5 ION although I can't say if the 7th Mi5er actually played).

Mat I can understand your POV but it's just a-typical that ION consistantly get bummed out of stuff.

Especially when Timo is promising demos and nothing at all happens when he lets you down.

Well, I got the same song way back when I was league admin...
Irregularities happen and apparently there's nothing we can do about it. The only thing that makes >ION< special is that you were so close to being no. 1 when it happened, nothing else.
Nobody hates you and we're not out to get you.

There is nothing I hate more than people sticking their noses into a situation that has nothing to do with them, without at least some understanding of the situation (And yes, I added that last bit so that no-one could say I was sticking my nose in :p )

Let me get this right, you have come to an AS public board, to complain at the entire UTA community, that we some how are holding ION down ?

Exactly what proof do you have of this btw ? You said you are a CTF player, which means you take as much attention to the AS scene as I do to the CTF scene.
So your basing your entire 'arguement' upon things that 'ION' players have told you.
Now I don't wanna get myself into @#%$ with ION players, as I have some good friends in ION, so this isn't a knock on ION, but taking info from just one side is not the cleverest thing to do when making such a snap decision post.

I can't think of one rule that has been made to stop ION in their progress. True that I have only be around in the UTA scene for about 3 months, but it was around this time that ION started to shine and as Fronck said, I don't remember any rules which have been made to stop ION from progressing.

Basically what this post is about, is that your sick of hearing people complain to you, easily sorted, tell them to stfu :p

And lastly, FFS admin, just give them a victory over Mi5, and stop all the disagreement. Mi5 have turned tail and run, so we will have no arguement from them and if it means I don't have to hear about 7vs5 on Mazon again, I will be a happy bloke.

To be honest i dont really care about the whole 'mazon' situation now, i'm more than happy with the way the league is going now, through my personal experience i have found that i get on well with all other clans and the league definatley has a much happier 'vibe' around it.
Perhaps though this is because of the new rule, as it certainly makes my job a hell of a lot easier :lol:

Nonononono, i have the answer : that's cause BO is in Div1 now !! You will see next month we we will go back to our home (Div2, hum ...) the league will become sad again ! :lol:
