Erm i tried reading insturctions :lol:

but after i followed em the dvd plays the same as without the card

i have a realmagic plus one

can anyone give any advice ??
i didnt plug anycables into the care from insdie am i supposed to ?

Erm if you didn't put the loopback lead in, it won't work. DVD decoder cards like that one use video overlay. And on a plus note those lovely loopback leads really fuckup the sharpness of your monitors image :(

or a tv :p

I have that card too, and didn't get your problem either.

My video recorder rules. Shame the TV in England is so bad there's nothing to record.

i have the bnc hub at the back of my 21incher

and the loop cable was plugged into the VGA card

but do i need to plug anything in the case to it ?

there is no fkin point in a dvd decoder just get WinDVD 2000 Version 2.4 Retail off me :p then ur sorted m8 image quality is exactly the same and smoothness? erm unless u got some Celeron 300 with a 1st generation DVD Drive its gonne run @ full 25fps (if pal) anyway.. this verion of windvd even has dolby digital headphones support :)

Ive tried ur card and some others on my old puta (PII450) tbh they are pointless m8, only advantage i could ever think of would be the tv-out.. but thats aload of bollox anyway

btw u can get a cheap dvd player (real one) for like 99 quid rofl will give ya 3x the quality of a pcdvd based player

anyway blah blah icq me if u want software m8ey :)

I dont use a decoder either, Lightning was trying to flog me his one because he realised the same thing :) (possibly, come on flame me big boy ;) )


DVD plays fine with PowerDVD on with a PIII 750 - and Im sure thats more than enough power.

DVD playback is fine on anything above a PII350
im sure we all have above that........... :rolleyes:
