XBox Live & Broadband

Ok lets start..

to cut a long story short - my internet provider wont install another broadband box for my Xbox upstairs in my house! (which i dont agree with) - but they find it pointless!

Therefore i have to make some kind of LAN - but i dont want to mess about with cables e.t.c, as my room is very high from the main BB box!

Is there any way i can make a wireless link? or something pretty easy?

Oh and will wireless affect my ping (e.g. a fuckin high ping) - i would have guessed tbh!

For a wireless lan you need a wireless router and the put wireless cards/usb-dongles in the computers to access it, I have no idea how that will go/work with Xbox though..

I doubt wireless will affect your ping since (W)Lans are usually 5.5mbit or 10mbit, so thats fast enough.
Plus I have wireless myself and my UT ping is always great

Hmm AFAIK Xbox needs a connection from an actual cablewire ..

I think i might ring up the internet provider and push it a bit more!

You can get wire->wireless converters... I have never seen the point of them until now
