UT2K3 Performance

I lately upgraded to a amd 3.0gig xp with 1 gig ddr400 and a geforce fx 5900ultra so decided to reinstall ut2003 and see wot it was like and it still runs very poor cant even think about running it at 1600x1200 its just playable at 1280x1024 although stutters quite a bit even with some of the settings reduced from maximum, Is there any good tweak sites out there? cant seem to find anything good

just run 1024*768 32 bit 16 af highest texture details that should run and look great..

ok i take it when u say 16 af thast is 8xantialiasing and 8x anisotropic filtering? if so i tried that and average at 26fps on dm-anatalus

settled for playing at 1024x768 with all settings maxed and 0 af

tried:
- turning off foliage
- turn off reduce mouselag
- turn off all force feedback options
?

never set antialiasing and anthoblahblah filtering to max, just set it to 2 or 4, you won't need more (oh, what a pleasant rhyme)

i got a ti4200 and in 1024*768 32 bit max details no aa/af i get 70-140 fps on antalus.. u should be getting double..

8xantialiasing and 8x anisotropic filtering will destroy ur performance, u dont really need these on in such a fast game u wont notice much of a difference

at 1024x768 no af and settings maxed it tops out at 75fps due to monitor refresh rate although it does drop to the 60`s at times, tbh for the system i have i expected a bit better

ahh just thoguht at 1024x768 the refresh rate can go much higher,k gonan try it
