system deletes gfx and monitor drivers ...?

Something weird happened, I installed my wireless network card and rebooted my system. When it came up again the resolution was set to 800*600 and I was like WTF... I checked GFX and it said NO MODEL AVAILABLE, same with my monitor drivers (22")... I tried to reinstall both drivers but I cannot reinstall them for some (unknown?..) reason fs.

Well it says installation successful please reboot your system, but after a reboot nothing changed, the drivers are still not installed... seems I gotta jus reinstall my system hm?

Anyone experienced something like that, too? lol

is your BIOS set to "Plug n Play OS"?
Sounds like the wireless card may have pinched the IRQ or something from the GFX card?

I was on holiday and I'm back now. thx for the post Trash, I just switched my wireless card into another PCI Slot and installed it again, now all my drivers are back...really weird stuff
