i tried to post links with the [.url=url*here.] TEXT [./url.] tags, but it fucks up big time and makes html code out of it

Works for me. Make sure you have " " around the URL, like (without the *)

[url*="http://www.utassault.net"]url[/url]

the edit window is the bugger. for example in my sig, it only shows

[glow.=black]Free xXx[/.glow]

and not the link and not the colortag for orange text. like half of the tags are not displayed, suxx imho

if you edit it then you fuck it up big time of course

it also automatically makes text like this bold etc, really not handy at all

Last post you have a [/quote] & [/b] in the wrong order which might explain what you got, but i'm not sure what you are trying to do.... Your sig is currently:
{b}{url="http://forums.utassault.net/login.php?do=logout"}{/url}{/b}
Which is missing the text that should be clickable... Not that thats a sig you'd be able to keep very long unless it said 'click to log out' or similar.

i thought i removed my sig, at least it says so in my CP

following is all about "editing posts", not posting

anyway i meant that if you edit your post, it doesnt show the {URL} tags and the {color} tags. but they are still there, just invisible. if you add more tags then it fucks up the whole post of course. but i think thats only in internet explorer feature. is it possibly to have all tags show up when you click edit?

(for example the clor tags are not shown, the text in the edit window has the chosen color instead. but how are you supposed to change the color if the tag is not there? same with links, you cant change the link without fucking it up, at least i havent found a way to do it)

Could u post a screeny of a post + Screeny of what you see after clicking edit.

attached the pic now, what i mean is how can i change the link and color when the tags are not displayed? if i add the tags now it fucks up as in the first post in this thread. hope you understand what i mean

rgr, you are using the new WYSIWYG editor.... you need to highlight the text and then click the A button on the toolbar and select the colour - it's like doing a webpage in word that converts formatting to html/vB tags. So putting tags in an edited post will mess it up. If you click the + button on the right it shows you the html code which you can also edit - it will update your post as you do. You need to have a play with it.

Personally i'm old skool vB Standard Toolbar (i.e specifiying tags myself).
