voted no, it annoys me to watch in forums and everyone got a huge pic in its sig, pointless if u have an avatar imo

I'd be interested to see how 3.6.x actually controls the dimensions of remote images... Surely it'd have to transfer the image each time (or at least keep a cached copy of it) before it can check the size of the images?

...Might give it a whirl over at my priv forums.

Perhaps it downloads and checks the image once, and then stores the md5?

And it's possible to remotely check the md5 of an image without downloading it again?
