edit: maybe go for 1 melody all the way instead of mixing a few....most really good music has that doesnt it? (I mean 1 tune that people remind...even if they don't want to )

Tried Acid 4.0
got around 2Gb of samples for it.
tbh it seems a kinda basic proggie, ive got a couple of cakewalk ones, erm Sonar3 and project 5 but ive not had a real good look at em. something in between would be better, what can you guys suggest?
