Who can help me?
in the Mapvote config is instagib as botpack intergrate, but doesnt work right.(its now disable in the config, dont tell me about thats the reason :rolleyes: )

if a instagib game are vote there is only sniper active!
whats wrong in the config?

if i remember right,picture size should be 120x110 and pcx file,cos UnrealEd can only handle pcx.

something other: to be honest, for the first time i was sceptic about mapvoteLA and HandleStream error correlation. But i was getting it more and more often,so i decided to try out Baiter's suggestion: setting BentryWindows=False. And voila: i still haven't received any HandleStream error (since a week; earlier i got it at least 2 times a day).
Maybe this helps to find out the little bug.

Basically what was also said by masterjohnny, but if you wanted an animated .gif (not sure if that's what you got, but I'm presuming it is), well that won't work. But since the mapvote is usually up for about a minute anyways, a static pic usually does the trick just fine. If you need help doing it, let me know since I've done a few before. ;)

I have a problem which isn't severe, but is just more annoying than anything else. I just installed CTF4 onto my two StrangeLove UT99 servers, and we run MapVoteLA for mapvoting among several gametypes (CTF, BR, JB, DOM, TDM, CTF4, and CarryTF). Unfortunately, CTF4 would not recognize its own maps beginning with CTF4- but rather was culling through all the CTF- maps and not even showing the CTF4- ones. What I ended up doing was renaming all the CTF4 maps to "CTF-[4]*" -- then I made List1 look for "CTF-*" and List2 look for "CTF4-[4]*" and made an exclude filter for "CTF-[4]*" and that seems to work, but it's just slightly annoying that we can't name the maps properly.

Since it's not a "problem" anymore, per say, don't feel the need to rush to our aid, but if there's a MapVoteLA14 in mind, maybe it's something you could look into? Thanks :)

And, great job on this MapVote, it's really the best one we've ever tried.

MultiCTF doesn't even recognize it's own maps (CTFM-), it tries to load CTF- maps instead. Thats really funny. And of course very difficult for the mapvote to load those maps. However I put a special fix into MapvoteLA13 so that the gametype MultiCTF now properly and exclusively loads CTFM- maps ;)

How come game types as ias and proas, rocketarena, bunnytrack doesnt load anymore?
Only thing I've changed since switching between LA12 and 13 is the lines:

old config from MapVoteLA12:

:rofl::spit: That was the 1st thing I noticed too. I was thinking "WTF is he posting the old mapvote & having some of the stuff added in there?" They may look similar, but still! :eyeroll:
I'm sure he's doing this :hide: or :sofa: as soon as he sees this again. :D

You can go to you user.ini
Find a key and type behind it:
'mutate bdbmapvote votemenu'
e.g E=mutate bdbmapvote votemenu
 
Bt Maps not showing up in mapvote

Hey everyone. I have BT maps I have uploaded to my server.However, I can not get them to show up in mapvote. I have maplists as follows : CTF , DM , LMS , and Bunny Tracks. I upped BT maps to server and they are not "showing up ". I have gone through the read me over and over and can't figure out what it is I am doing wrong.Some tell me by looking at my mapvote ini and telling me if it is listed correctly ? The maps I have on now work, and in the right numerical listing order.Just the BT maps will not come in.

Also, I see you got the DM-* done twice under the filters. Only one should do, unless your doing Insta also, then it should say iDM-*
 
I did that

I did that as u suggested still didn't work.And nothing is enabled for the others like you suggested for bt list.I'm really confuzzled here with it and been spending sometime on trying to figure it out.When i wnet in and did again as you suggested, I still had no weapons, and it made it regular weapons in game.So i then took that line out and weapons were gone.I know its simeple to many of you and Im certain its a error on my part again, but I cant for life of me figure it out. :S
 
It's Gotta Be a LA13 MapVote Conspiracy!

I have been trying everything everyones been posting here to get my BT maps to show up in Mpavote LA13.It's been a good week now, and as of yet I have had no luck.Ive done what you all have suggested.Made it sound soooooooo simple.Yet I can't figure it out LOL .Looked in mirror this morning and saw I even had gray hair and the words thank la13 for the grey hair, LOL .So maybe that isn't funny to some, but hey I'm only in 5th grade :D Anyways, I still need some help.I need my BT maps to show up. I have tried it every imaginable way possible.My ini is listed below.Someone could be kind enough to help me I would be very very thankyful . :)
