Well, I must say that this Mapvote is The best thing since slice bread :D

Everything is working beautifully. But After some heavy Modding, I got a problemo :P

My First Map Loads Normal Weapons. I want it to load my TDM Settings (I have a TDM Map for my first map)

Ohh, By the way, The only startup Mutator I have is the MapvoteLA12.

So, how can I have the first map (which is TDM), have all the mutators that I assigned TDM to have on the first Start up map?

on the first map after serverstart the mutator/actors are not applied. That's because the mapchange wasn't initiated by mapvote and therefore the mapvote simple doesn't know what to start ;)
 
So, there is no way around this?

I remember when it Auto-Detected the maps, the first one would be good with the settings.

Ever since I added Jailbreak and started Mis-Matching the server mods....I can no longer do that. Is there no other way or config around it?
 
k i'm trying to set up a mapvote for a lan next month but the 2 last collums, itdm and idm won't appear, what did i do wrong :/ ??

If the server is in TDM mode when you shut it down and you start the server with a TDM Map, it will start the right Mutatos cause they were saved. In other cases it cant run the any Mutators (on that single first map) since it is impossible to know which Mutators you want. E.g.: if 'DM-Deck16.unr' in TDM mode it starting this could be TDM, iTDM, or any kind of TDM mutation. Noone knows. Shouldn't be a big problem cause you usually restart the server quite rarely.

In MapVoteLA10 you are limited to one custom gametype kinda like this:

you should update to MapvoteLA12 where you can use several custom game configs like this:

k installed 12 and is fully working
where can i check the option of maps getting red :p is on and how long it takes for it to be active again( non red :P )

other question, i got the picture (120*110 like you said) i made pcx file with RAD tools and saved it in unrealed as a texture file, k how to display it ??

( also added monsterannouncer, it tells when sombody does double, multi....., does this have to be added to serverpackages?? )

You will see the logo when you open the mapvote window as long as you don't klick on a map (then it will be replaced by the map-picture).

k so i make it a pcx file, then in UT ed i import it, it is like this one color figur, but when i open it in windows vieuwer it is the pic i want, k so i go on, save it, link it etc but the picture does not appear :/, still black space
 
try the DFPLogo.utx that is installed on DFP Public then you can see if it's a faulty pcx or a faulty configuration ;)

btw the picture MUST be square with a sidelength that is a power of 2 (e.g.: 64x64, 128x128, 256x256,...), colormode has to be 8 Bit palette, otherwise UT will just draw a black square ;)
 
I found the problem I was having.

it was a mod called NickNameBan....removed it, and everything was working normal on the default map ;)
 
k it is 128*128 now, i saved it as a texture, and i can see the pic in unreal ed( saved: Manu.utx) i add that to serverblabla in ini and mapvote ini, but it still not appears :/

if u follow the Tutorial u will see THREE Pics.... (3 x import) .. i guess u didnt read the Tutorial ;)
 
The "tutorial" contains a lot of unnecessary stuff for the basic logo requirements; therefore what cyber-m is doing is pretty much correct.

When you import the pcx file into the new texture in uED, you need to make a note of the name of the texture (as well as the package), and in the MapVote.ini, make a reference directly to the texture name:

i.e. if your texture in Manu.utx name is "MyCoolLogo":

LogoTexture=Manu.MyCoolLogo
 
I have mapvote la12 on our server. I would like list new DM and TDM maps in the other columns..I have tried different configs and parameters with no luck....Anyone know how to set this up?
