Driving on the left should give you the first hint of Britains beligerant past.
It's all to do with the presentation of ones swordarm you see.
Two ppl aproach one and other along a track,
the majority of ppl are right handed,
therefore carry a sword in a scabbard on the left side for drawing with the right hand.
If a fight were to take place, then each assailant/combattant could, with a little practiced skill, draw and slash their sword in one swift movement.
Either for defence or attack, the best place to be was on the left hand side

dont like horses, ride 1 b4 and nearly fell of it head first and still haven't riden a horse since
