I played Uplink, which seems to be similar..

And I just found this one: http://www.hacker2003.com

That one seems the successor of uplink.. cuz its talking about "Mindlink", which is close to "uplink".

I think ds seemed a lot better, coz in uplink u just type click buy firewall, buy passcracker etc, but with darksigns u can program ur own script, u r actually looking for exploits in the code etc, the first demo missions are crap but the usermade ones are cool.
Like the mission2 on outpost u first manage to read in fileinfo that a certain variable remains set, the variable is set to a certain word and encrypting using the password u r looking for. So u make a small script to run through a commen passwordlist decrypting this variable untill it makes a word, then u know the pass, so u log onto server and download the next file using the pass u found.

Then u find a info file saying there are cretain bugs that have been fixed, but looking closely at code u can find there is a still a bug in it.
