Right, here's mine. Shouldn't be tough for anyone who's seen it, and it was a world-famous, career-defining movie for a certain person:

Clues: WORLD FAMOUS FILM STARRING WORLD FAMOUS ACTOR. You have seen most of this guy's movies and heard of pretty much all of them. This particular film helped define his career and elevate him to one of the world's most famous and admired film actors, which he still is today.

Just look carefully at the picture and if you've seen the film in question and can take anything from the above clues I'm sure you'll get it. What do this bunch of guys look like to you?

Having all but killed this thread, it's Serpico. Al Pacino is the guy on the right with his back to the camera (beard and hat). From the scene where the crooked cops all discuss how to expand their on-the-take schemes and Serpico wants none of it. It's from the 70s btw.
