Really different feel compared to Fifa 10, but it's still a bit of the same.
Thinking of getting it for ps3 :D

got it preordered for ps3, so perhaps a nice challenge in a few weeks? ;)
I checked the demo as well today and liked it, but it didnt feel really different from fifa10

oh btw if you're checking demo's.. check enslaved: odyssey to the west.. great demo imho.. feels a bit like uncharted

I actually think it really feels different to Fifa10, just about the way players move etc...

fifa 11 sucks imo , penalties are stupid , free kicks are allot easier to score , and gameplay is really slow, most games i have played have been 0-0 lol
 
you play the demo right? I had many 0-0 as well but I think this is because of the only few minutes for a halftime.

AND maybe your scoring skills aint good enough to score a goal in Fifa 11 against Beginner COMs :P
 
I only played 2 games online :
Real Madrid 2 - 1 Chelsea
Real Madrid 2 - 2 Inter

There could have been more goals (on both sides) but scoring is a bit different indeed :D I like it harder though, because Fifa 10 was ezmode (for both sides).

Ps: Hint for penalties: Go into arena and take a penalty (arrow key when ball is in the area), then press L2, you will see a practice marker, makes it easy to practice
 
just to have my opinion about the penalties is mentioned here as well:

Personally I think the penalties in Fifa 10 are way to easy to shoot. I didnt count the hundred of 16-17 after penalty shoot out because of the easily given accuracy for players when shooting a penalty.

Thats way I like it when it is not a 99% goal when you have a penalty. Just like the need of good skills to score goals in a match. Fifa 10 was more like pushing the skill button and ball flies into the corner and unsaveable for the goalkeeper :P


I wonder when my game from Asia will actually arrive :rolleyes:

yeah i kinda like the penalties now i know how to take them properly , still think it's very slow and almost every game i play is 0-0 unless i play a n00b lol. reply to i cant score is , they can't score vs me either :P

I'm a bit disappointed with Fifa 11 tbh. Quite a few reasons too..

- The new passing system is terrible, passes are too slow and the accuracy is sometimes WAY off even though you aim perfectly.

- Free kicks, yellow cards, red cards are all too frequent, just slows down the game too much, I had a red card after 2 mins in one game for hardly a yellow card offence!

- Offsides? What are they about? The game seems to bug out and bring play back randomly for a pass that went wrong where a player was offside, the game seems to have no sense at all.

- Goalkeepers.. one problem with Fifa 10 and Fifa WC was that scoring was too easy, so they made goal keepers insane to score past in certain circumstances, but also left all the annoying bugs they had in Fifa 10, which made them seem so retarded. So you have a godlike goal keeper at one point, then another who can't catch a cross and just punches it..

- Be a pro is bugged like hell, nothing works, takes 15 mins to get into a game, EA servers can't handle the load so it targets random players for 5 second delays (playing as any ftw).

So overall I'd recommend anybody thinking of buying it to wait a while until they fix a few issues. Last weekend I got that sick of it, I ended up going back to Fifa WC. The concept they have tried to introduce is a good one, but the game is not finished imo, it's too slow and feels totally biased to defensive players who just use long ball, the beautiful game!
