Fake eq

Below is copy of e-mail i sent to his isp
the guy knew eq was away, what he didn't know is that me and eq still contacted eachother regularly and we never did have any arguments, etc

So it was damn obvious he was a fake to me, although unfortunatly some1 in ion told him to fuck off b4 I could link the ip with some1 else :/

I would like to inform you of someone who subscribes to your service is in breach of Acceptable Usage Policy (AUP) by attempting to impersonate a former member of my team.

We obtained his IP address, and resolved it to the host of pD9509E3D.dip.t-dialin.net .

For the incident in question, he used this host between 17:03 and 17:19 CET, on the 13th of September 2001.

Here is a direct ICQ log copy of my personal record of a conversation between the impersonator from your ISP, and myself (the impersonating attempting to use the handle "eq").

I take this matter very seriously since as a member of a semi-professional game team, we hold the intellectual property of over a dozen inviduals, and also hold the passwords to high value computer equipment and server.

Should you require further ICQ logs from my team mates, or any other query then please do not hesitate to ask.

I just strung him along just to see how much research he had done into finding out about eq, apparently not much at all.

Of course he couldn't know that me and him never argued and that we continued to talk after he left etc, but he should have known that eq plays diablo2 from the bod forum.


I kinda lost count is thsi the 4th or 5th guy to try something like this ?
