dl the zip below and unzip it to ur system dir. there are 28 different .txt files

then go to ut and bind the following to ur grey slash button: exec autorec1.txt

then when u have a match just push the grey slash button each map and it stats recording a new file. files 1.dem - 28.dem so it will record all maps even in a 7-7 match. after ur finished go to ur system dir and move all the demos recorded to another dir so u can record the next match again :)

btw if u want to record a next match u need to reset the bind to ur grey slash button. Bind sth like this to a key: set input greyslash exec autorec1.txt.

in ur ini: L=set input greyslash exec autorec1.txt

things u could add/edit is that it stores the demos in a certain map. just edit the .txt files for that. and yes i know .txt wasnt needed but it's easier for edit :)

this was originally thought of by Ace ION a while ago. I just made the files and packed em so it's ez to use. Thnx for cs for the uploading as sixth site is offline and i cant add files through the forum.

have fun. Reason for this is that the mod for autorecording demos isnt stable. sometimes doesnt record at all or just random maps lol. hope it works did for me so :)

I made an irc script about may 2001, maybe earlier
where u coud set it up 1 button for recording and 1 to stop recording and it would also bind it in ur user.ini to use the .txt files. It recorded up to 100 demos or whatever number u picked and u could set up how they were named like match01 etc.
and it used teamsay to say u were recording.

I just checked and I made it back in 22nd feb 2001 :)
no1 was interested then though. I didn't just think of it :p
I made it an it had more options back then.

just install a videocam on ur head. If a bug flies in ur room just watch at it .. or move it so it records everything in ur back :)

i got a question well 2 of em.

when i press greyslash my pc lagged that suppost to happen .

and when the demos are in my system what do i run em on to c em?

u could get the download manager, im too lazy too look for it but serach for it wiv and engine

or u type in UT in console:

demoplay <namedemo without the .dem>?3rdperson?timebased

If its not rite then its coz i am using demomanager :)

it could lag 1 time for 1 sec but depends on ur system actually..

to see em use demoplay <name>

best to do is when u finished a match u move all the files to a certain folder/directory for instance sixth-ai/

then use demoplay sixth-ai/1.dem
or demoplay sixth-ai/2.dem etc

:)

i know i've used it before as well.. but after noticing it didnt record whole maps/matches.... tho it WAS on autorecord checked before match etc.

the demo manager was exactly the reason why i posted this.
