iv just got a new PC and i cant get d3d working correctly.

Without Vsync off it seems a bit smoother, but with it on with a capped 85 FPS it seems jumpy as hell.

Im just wondering if there is any method to get my UT smooth apart from new GFX drivers, which iv already tried.

Thx in advance.

i can only suggest opengl as there is a class regualrly updated driver:
http://cwdohnal.home.mindspring.com/utglr/
implements a lot of features like AA at amazing speed and a lot of memory/texture optimisations + other features that come in handy or improve performace.

can be changed to look like 3d, too. its just faster big time imo.

i really like openGL, but my gfx card disagrees with it :(

i get weird texture crashes an stuff and have to restart, which is a pain.
