Battlefield 2142

  • Hey - turns out IRC is out and something a little more modern has taken it's place... A little thing called Discord!

Since theres a few people about.

I can run a 64 player BF2 clan server if needed.
 
I bought bf2 few months ago played like 10 mins and called it a quits :P
Soon as I got out of spawn I got sniped :lol: :D
Could give it a try tho if uta people would wanna start playing in the same clan :D

I play BF2 more or less often, but usually just on austrian or german servers, pretty good game imo
 
same here, never played a BF war whatsoever, so would be nice learning with the lot of you. Also, it doesn't really matter if you play on an Austrian server, a german server, a swedish server, all servers are really good aimwise and easy to adjust to. Noting like UT whatsoever :)

I want to keep my crapness for myself. And I only play city maps on scandinavian servers. The freedom of not being bombed to heck on any Yank frigate is good. O and is it obly on servers that I play that spawnraping is used (I do too, because I need to get thos unlocks and ranks!)
 
just got given BF2 for me birthday :D so keep an eye out, (mushroomhead on xfire) or come tell me on irc if u fancy a game
 
I would be interested in this too, keep pushing on playing the game because of no ppl to play with, but if we get a bunch of ppl together and a server it should be fun.

You need a vileplanet subscription aka pay money for a vileplanet account.. and then you _might_ get in the BF2142 beta.

right!

you can only play 1 map (titan mode) ...but it's kinda fun---already pld 14h + ;)

and now and then all get disconnect from the server etc. but it's a beta :P
 
so how is it (titan mode)?, how are the new weapons, graphics etc? Is the play balanced? At totalbf.com they are giving some keys away with their podcast from time to time. Where did you get your's hank, at fileplanet?

Titan mode rocks ^-^ even if you can only play 1 map...you don't lose the fun :P I play hour for hour the same map :P

the new unlocks rock ^-^

the Squadleader can deploy a spawn beacon on the map (where he and his squadmembers can spawn via drop pod)

you also can kill ppl with the drop pod, lol ^-^ The new weapons are nice ^-^ graphics too and even with many unlocks you don't have that much advantages ;) so it's well balanced imo ^^

and yes I got my key from fileplanet :)

but you wanted to know how the titanmode is...

- on the map you can play in the beta you have to get control of the silos...there are 5 silos on the map and if you've got a silo under control you can spawn there (just like the conquest mode)

- the Troop carrier and APCs are spawnpoints in titanmode

- once you got a silo under your control you just have to wait till it fires his missile to the enemy titan and weakens his shields

- Once the shields of your enemys titan are down you can fly with a carrier or a droppod to the titan

- inside the titan you've to destroy 4 terminals to get acces to the Core of the titan

- Destroy the core and jump of the exploding titan - gg
