Hi there,

Problems on pc/laptops keep chasing me, even to my internship.
I'm working on a Dell Precision m6300.
Last friday my boss made some adjustments to give me the admin rights.
But since today i keep getting the message 'Auto Adjustment in Progress.
It doesn't stop anymore. Me and my buddy google looked it up, but i can't seem to find the best solution :s

The Laptop is linked to a monitor: HP L1940T.
This combination did work before my admin rights.

Have you thought about a career that doesnt involve computers in any shape or form, maybe a janitor or lumberjack?

Auto adjustment should just be the monitor reconfiguring itself some monitors are prone to doing it after the bios screen,I assume you are running at the monitors native res, have you tried plugging something else into the monitor to see if its faulty, are you using a DVI or VGA connection, have you seen if you can turn off auto adjustment on the monitor, tried resetting the monitor to factory defaults

Even janitors have computers nowadays
I don't think we have much lumberjacks in The Netherlands :p:
However, i did get a job offered for salesman, which would mean i would be on the street all day ;)

I solved the problem though, i replaced the VGA cable, that did the job. :uhh:
