hmmmm it is real close tho.

i comes down to their best albums, the black album and Appetite for Destruction, and Appetite for Destruction just wins it, imo.
 
G'n'R *were* the best way back, Appetite was FC.
HOWEVER, now, they are a bunch of lamers, who have little huffy hissy fights, and yet they still have the cheek to try and charge £25 a ticket to see them, when "them" is Axl Rose.
Metallica, however, have continued, and produced the sweet sound of "I Disappear" and the remake of "Whiskey in teh Jar" which had a rather strange video, so its a difficult shout.
But, can you really get better than Paradise City, My Michelle, Its so Easy, fuck, I am gonna have to sit and listen to Appetite again :D

Guns n Rosed V's Metalica...hmmn.


I heard some Guns n Roses on the radio in Feb this year I think, it was ok.

Metallica doesn get as much airplay, havent heard them in a while.
