I'm taking part in the Caledonian Challenge this year, which is a 54 mile hike along the West Highland Way (http://www.west-highland-way.co.uk/mainFrame.htm) in Scotland from Fort William to Loch Lomond, to be completed within 24 hours.

The walk takes place over the 17th and 18th June, and you can read all about it at http://www.caledonianchallenge.com

The walk is to raise money for the Scottish Community Foundation, which is a kind of umbrella charity which handles and makes grants to local Scottish charities and community groups.

I'll spare you the usual "please sponsor me" wordage, but if anyone is feeling generous and would like to donate any leftover beer money they have burning a hole in their pocket, PM me and I'll give you the details!
