i heard an adult mapper can nest a map in 1-3 months while the map wont leave the nest till its grown past 3 or 4 betas sadly very few map last to become fully grown map on servers in fact assault maps are said to be an endangered type. There is hope yet though 2 new types of assault maps have been rummored, one know as the roar breed and the other know as the conflit breed. Weather these new types of map become widespread or not is yet unknow lets hope they do well.
