Last time I had to do a list:
1. South Park - Bigger, Longer & Uncut
2. Donnie Darko
3. Clerks
4. Super Troopers
5. Reservoir Dogs
6. Pulp Fiction
7. The Matrix (the original)
8. L.A. Confidential
9. Jay & Silent Bob Strike Back
10. The Boondock Saints

But I'm unsure about 10... thinking of replacing it with Mulholland Drive or Indiana Jones - Raiders of the Lost Ark or X Girls (the pron movie with Sylvia Saint++)

Talking about decent directors

Anyone ever heard of Park Chan Wok?
He done Joint Security Area, Sympathy for Mr. Vengeance, Oldboy and Lady Vengeance

very interesting and even brilliant, yet partly VERY disturbing as well.

never heard of the Director, or even one of the movies

First movie ownz I havent watched second yet because I want too see it on dvd not by downloading it :P

i got both on dvd actualy...
second one is pretty much more of the same, so if u liked the first one np with the second.

Maybe u should also try "Shinobi" its a compareable setting and also very well executed. (for those anime/manga fans here: its based on "Basilisk, Chronicles of the koga ninjas")

Will have to search for it when I come home from my vacation. Second movie of azumi doesn't have subtitles at the shop I'm buying from which is why I haven't seen it yet. Another movie that might be a good move is called 'Alive' From the director of AZUMI , VERSUS and GODZILLA FINAL...

- once upon a time in the west
- the good the bad and the ugly
- the matrix
- A Clockwork Orange
- Fight Club
- Gladiator
- Godfather I
- Shawshank Redemption
- Oldboy
