General Portection Fault!

Please can sum1 help me. I run Unreal Tournament and this pops up:

Please can anyone help me. Any help will be much apprechiated.

hello,

tbh i'm not very firm with all those error messages, but first thing you can always do is: deleting the files UT.ini and User.ini.
Both can be found in the UT\System folder.
After you deleted them start UT, both files will be created automatically.
In some issues that alrdy helped.

Incase the erros is still there, give us abit more infos:
- Which UT Version are you using (newest for clients is Patch 1.36)
- Which Graphicrendereer do you use (OpenGl, Direct3D, Softwarerenderer)
- What's your Operatingsystem (WinXP, Vista, 2000, etc)
- Does teh error always appears, or only if you wanna join a server / load a special map

Hem... perhap's save your user.ini before if you want to keep your binds... (then copy them into ur new user.ini)...

Thanks people. I have fixed the problem now. Sorry for the long reply as i have been ill. I have got one more problem. I set up a lan game on UT99. I join it and also my brother joins it. We both play and every 10 minutes on my brothers computer, his Uunreal Tournnament shuts down and it says 'General Protection Fault'
