Well, Microsoft always stole features from existing operation systems and added them to their new products, while repeating again and again that they didn't steal anything.

Compared to IBMs OS/2 the Windows system was crap, but IBM made many (marketing) mistakes, so Windows was able to "assimilate" the majority of PC owners.

Ah well, ofc Vista is slow, not compatible, insecure and not necessary. WinXP runs stable and is still uptodate.
But in the future every new computer will be sold witht Vista. Oh and Microsofts DirectX10 will be just available for this new system...not for XP. So gamers, who wanna play DX10 games, are forced to use Vista anyway.

using it now! So bring on the DX10 gamez. And blind monkeys can install it. That guys needs to put more through the shredder then just his vista copy.:rolleyes:
 
people tends to talk shit about M$ but their OS are good, people are just ignorants.
of course M$ took stuff from other OS , but that what happening in all industry .. haven't cars all got air bag and brake stuff nowaday ?
what u could say about M$ is that they want to controle stuff and make lot of money .. but who doesn't want .. uh ? :P

i tend to "defend" M$ but i do like other OS aswell , they all have very good points , and i think it is all for the better if they all take things from others :)
