How do i uninstall this crap?

I must have installed some proggie i shouldnt have. Now whenever i start the putah up i get this on my monitor.

When I start Internet Explorer i get a stupid extra "blue bar" with search, email search, blue book etc, looks like this:

I can remove this if i right click on top of ie (where u can choose what toolbar etc to show) by unselecting "knob admin" but its always back when I restart IE

The thing also alter my startup page (i normally have www.google.se) but now it looks like this:

I dont see any unusual proggies in controlpanel =>add/remove program and I dont find anything useful when i search google for "knob admin"

PLS HELP!!!, that stupid crap also slows my conn down it seems

msn PLUS (for 6.0) had sth like that in it i think. try uninstalling it if u got that?

I used to had that one too.. it is really evil!
I never got rid of it.. so i formatted.

A m8 told me there was a newer version of that bluebar out which had a disable feature, I know it sounds silly but maybe you need to install more of that crap so you can disable it?

Spybot doesnt find or delete it...

addendum,

When I had it, I tried a lot:

-Spybot
-Google
-Checking processes
-Running anti-virii scan

found nothing.. And its really odd that its not in processes list and afaik that can only mean 1 thing:
It prolly installs itself _into_ (some part of) windows =(

I had a startpage highjackecd by similar searchpage.
Tryed spybot, ad-aware, anti-virus proggies and searched lots of internet pages to find how to get rid of it.
Nothing worked, its still there.

Finally i found another kinda solution : mozilla
Now im glad i had ie startpage highjacked

Yeah I had the same. That damn XP picture sure is annoying. Just couldn't get rid of it. Then I found out how to set the desktop properties. Hey presto...now looks just like Win 95.

Towanda, i had exactly the same crap. Got it from installing a bit torrent client :/ With Rob1ooo1oo's help i deleted some crap out of the registry and removed a startup process and it stopped loading the blue bar thing on the desktop. The blue bar in IE didn't go away so now i'm using a different browser till it's time to reinstall. Bloody annoying.

hmm ive had anoher spy ware prob, my teacher told me to go to run 'regedit' then search for the name of spyware and delete those files outta there, worked for me :>

@Jaseyjas: Latest version of adaware (6.168 i think, am at work now and dont have adaware here) but go to http://www.lavasoftusa.com/and dl it and i will remove all that crap

I think I got it from installing some bittorennt crap, not shadows version which i am now using at work i have msn 6 and it dont come with that
