winxp/hotmail help?

for those who use msn messenger, u know u get a hotmail notice if u receive mail..little square screen pops up right above the start up tray...but now even when i have msn messenger turn off i still get the email alerts..i turned it off in msn messenger setting, but i still get the alerts..and it fucks up my ut when im playing ...anybody got a idea how to turn that fucker off..it started happenin just a few days ago and i havnt dun anything or installed anything latley...

Open Outlook, go into Tools/Windows Messenger/Options, click on the Preferences tab and de-select every thing under Alerts.

delete all the contacts on your contacts list, problem solved
