u cant even work with a 42" screen proper if u dont sit like 3metres away from it
and I would never buy that :crap: old pc
but well if u want to "downgrade" your current pc to a media pc, do it

5900xt > x300

X300 cards are crab enough, but the SE version is utter utter crab.
Well the x300 could be enough for UT1, but i really doubt that you wanna play with your new pc just games from the late 90s ;).
I would never buy a modern computer setup that has less than a Geforce 6800/6600GT or Radeon X800 in it.

Some "must have":
Atleast 3200 GHz CPU - Athlon64 3200+ or Intel Pentium 3200
(but don't buy an evil AMD Sempron 3200+ CPU. They are even slower than the old AthlonXPs)
1GB RAM
Atleast a Geforce 6800/6600GT or Radeon X800 gfx card.
80GB/120GB (enough for a normal (!=movie powerdownloader) User)

actually i did...
(...) don't start with the '' Don't buy a pc '' jokes.
my post wasn't meant to be a joke :P

he'll break either, but if he breaks the PC he won't as likely break his own bones...
