UT opengl settings for both nvidia/ati

Just reading through some of these old post and was wondering what would be best for my system. I have a AMD dual core 4800+ 2.4GHz processor, 2Gb ram and use pci express NVidia 7800GTX g/card. I am currently running Vista o/s but have just started running UT in XP compatability mode. Would open gl drivers work better for me? I just installed UT and let pc decide, never thought of using open gl before and is there a lot of work to do user side to install and get working ok? Cheerz :)

Coronas=False

I used DB's settings and driver, having a little problem now, i got HD 4850 and when i run UT on OGL i seem to have some sort of 'tearing' in the middle of my screen, it's not normally visible, only when look left'right quickly, probably impossible to capture on the screenie, any idea what might causing it?

I know ati cards arent exactly perfect for UT on OGL but still.
Game works pretty much normal on D3D/D3D8/D3D9.

It is set to 60 and it is how my monitor is set atm.

Still the same. Also game doesn't feel smooth at all, even though there's steady 57 fps it feels like 25-30 :|
