I have Read the book a MANY years ago.. didn't know there's a movie made on it. Tho I remeber the name as a "Touch of the void"... so I might be talking on a wrong thing here.

I'm sure if you liked the book you'd like the film. Definitely worth watching although I'm not sure my dvd is going to get a second viewing.

It's awesome the scenarios they got themselves into, and out of.
Bet they can't look each other in the eye, ever again.

It did kinda split the climbing fraternity at the time.
But these guys were living it for real, no room for barroom hooha.
No bravado or macho.
Simply reality.
Act or die.
Albeit your actions may have killed someone else.
But then again that could in itself be a blessing.
Read the book, and watch the (UK) movie.(dramatised documentary).
