Speed Run Revived

  • Hey - turns out IRC is out and something a little more modern has taken it's place... A little thing called Discord!

If that can be simplified and released for offline mode that would be great.

We would have to reset all the records or just do a seperate one mido. This would mek it more interesting as it wouldn't really have a limit.

Well I have started work on an offline version, and have made it display the full time in milliseconds, will probably round to 3 decimal points to give enough differentiation between records - just need to run some simulation runs and make sure the calculations are being done correctly.

It would be great if you could include the gamespeed settings somewhere on the hud/console.
 
Sounds cool weirdo :) Do you think it'll accept existing runs and measure the time in hindsight? :cool:

Ok, it's dead simple, so hopefully this should be the only version I have to publish.

Will document some more tomorrow on what the figures mean, but basically having the full string will prove that you're not cheating the times.

Usage:

or start a practice session with this mutator listed.

If someone would like to try it out and post a screeny, I'll explain what the figures mean.

Yhea tried LAS and regular AS... everything (including final scoring screen) is the same :)
(the mutator does show up ingame though, at the mutator-selection screen)
