hi all i run mapvote la13 and im having a problem with getting the translocator to work i think i have edited correctly in the ini let me know what you guys think....any help i can get would be greatly appreciated

It looks ok but have you tried setting

bDM=False
bLMS=False
bTDM=False
bDOM=False
bCTF=False
bAS=False

? I seem to remember they affect the CustomGameConfigs - i.e. have one or the other but don't use bCFT with a custom CTF config.

I'm no expert though.

Another thing to check is that bUseTranslocator is the correct command for the EUT SmartCTF
 
hmmm still no trans i edited those to false and checked in ut ini under the eut and botpack gametypes and everything seems to be right....do i have to put it in server packages or something????
 
Whats not working exactly? I cant see anything wrong with your mapvote.ini

Does mapvote list the maps properly and set everything else correctly (scores/relics/etc) ?
You arent loading any mutators by server startup line that might be conflicting?
What does it show in the server log file when you turn debug on and vote for tctf?

Everything works fine I just cant seem to get the translocator to work like you said the ini is right and i dont start any mutators in the command line or anything all my mutators are in the custom gametypes of the mapvote which is the only mutator i run period...
 
I've looked through the EUT SmartCTF settings and can't find one for transloc. Cratos would be the best person to know about this, or perhaps you could ask in the EUT thread on unrealadmin.org for the right setting.

I assume youve checked this already but does the translocator work with all the above settings if you set it via webadmin and mapvote disabled?

That would at least show if the fault lies within mapvote or server config.

Yes I did that and it does work without the mapvote selected as a mutator
 
So what does the log say with debug on? Should show if its trying to set it and failing or not bothering at all, that would give some guidance otherwise its guessing :D
