Neo used to host player's user ini's on his site for ppl to have a go playing with. You will always find having a go with someone else's setup, something easier to play with, and notice maybe a few better placed keybinds or optimised settings etc etc.

Mine is pretty much Twister's ini really but if anyone wants to have a go, maybe upload their own as well, it's be interesting to see what ppl think, and I can guarantee a few ppl will change completely.

Remember to remove any passwords from any ini you upload. Also I don't wanna see 40 -cod-munkZ-'s on jolt, so be careful what you're pressing.

You might wanna upload your unrealtournament.ini as well, some ppl like uzi have quite a few optimizations in there.

Maybe make this sticky?

I enjoyed playing with your User.ini.. many similarities with my own.. except.. use inverted mouse ffs :p:

I'm tempted to alter my weapon priority, never laid a single hand on it, might be worth when im out of ammo on mini and switch to ripper instead of pulse :)

UT.ini is too big ;)

uhm paa didnt you complain about low fps all the time? how about disabling em detail textures?
they kill my machine (Im on a xp 1800 / gf4 ti4200) so you *should* get a few extra FPS without em.
 
how much is a few ?

i average 40 fps on most assault maps and lowers alot when alot of action ( spam ) on screen i doubt very much that option will have that big of an effect

tho i did find a performance boost going from 16 bit to 32 bit which is fucking weird.. but it runs smoother in 32 bit :confused:
 
Bamse, vet du om att du spelar med fov 80? Jag kommer ihåg att en leagueAS version gjorde så att efter du snipade med zoom, ändrades fov'en till 80. Men det är fixat i de nyare versionerna nu.

Jag kör default, fov 90
 
i got everything ultra low and i get a bouncy 50 fps :\ probably need faster processor to use my GF4 good, but then i ALSO need a new mobo ffs
 
im just using the standard 1..cant be bothered fixing and tweaking the ini..im also runnin it on a dodgy tnt2
 
Heres me user and ut .inis

.txt files are part of some of the binds - they jus go in the system folder, altho all they do is turn screen/flashes n decals on and off

ha ha nah det visste jag inte...

ändrat det nu, men kan man köra med mindre än 90 på servers?

Detailed textures put an 'extra' texture on top of the normal textures, which helps improve IQ (Which i think is a minimal improvement at best).

However, detailed textures require twice the texel fillrate to render the same sence, which often halfs the frame rate.

I'd seriously leave that off, its a waste.

And about the 32bit thing. Now days, most video card drivers are optimized for 32bit, as its pretty much the standard now days, so that could be why.

Nepp, lägsta är fov 80 (pga att man zoomar) och högsta är... Vet jag faktiskt inte :) Runt 250 typ... säkert... :D

Jag har testat att spela med högre fov än 90 men jag vänjer mig aldrig vid det. Kan inte ens spela med fov 100.
Men fov 90 är bra, för sniping (utan zoom), mini, shock på medel distans.
