This is a multiple choice poll. Vote as many maps as you want.
Most popular maps will form the maplist for Orange Assault Instagib server.
Not sure how many maps yet, depends on the poll result and participation.

p.s: Due to VBulletin limitations, polls can't have more than 20 options. I made a 2nd poll with non-league maps. Plz vote here as well.

Interesting to see that the most popular maps are either:

a. Nice flat layout with a minimum of chokepoints - river3, desertstorm etc, or
b. Have decent launch potential - Mazon, Golgotha etc.

seams like too many ppl voting based on std assault :/

for example take submarinebase2, completey crap at std but dam playable at insta yet only 15 votes !

overlord playable in std, complete and utter wank at insta yet 16 votes !

heck even 7 ppl voted for oceanfloor !! have these ppl never played insta in thier lives ?

public vote is one thing but does the public have any comman sense ?

im agree with u guys .Even i usually disconnect when maps like astheno,overlord... come.I dont want play in pubs to waste 20 minutes.In overlord even u get boiler room that against a decent def is really hard after that its impossible to get the final obj.

Added all the maps with >30 votes.
Resultant maplist is 10 maps long, same as before. These:

- DesertStorm
- Frigate
- GolgothaAL

- Rook

As for custom maps, they are not installed on the server yet, and none of them got more than 30 votes. May add Vampire in a future.

Well that was a useless poll then a few of the maps voted in are totally horrible for ias and some that are really good and some customs like vampire aint in :/

Looking at the poll and say what you like but that looks seriously fixed....

All maps deserved the chance. If ppl don't like them, they are not voted, they are not in.
If ppl voted them, they wanted to play those maps, you should respect that.
Of course the resultant maplist will not please everyone, but will please most. That's how an opinion poll works aint it?
And Vampire as well as other customs are on Poll #2 because of the 20 options limit, explained before.

Yeh but id like to see the people who voted for some of these maps cause personally anytime i play ias and these maps come up people get pissed off/idle/leave server

What would you propose then? Put only the maps that you want ignoring a majority voting? Obviously not.
The only problem here could be non-iAS players voting based on StdAS experience, but I'm afraid we can't prevent this.
A clan rep voting for iAS clans only? Not worth to do. It's just a maplist for a public server....
Only changes from the original maplist are: Astheno and Overlord out, Golgo and Frigate in.
