Guild Conduct and General Rules

Guild conduct is one of the most important qualities to a successful guild. Most of you reading this will find the points common sense. If you realise that, you’re already half way there.

It’s important to realise that guild conduct doesn’t just apply to how you portray yourself within the guild. It’s also important outside the guild as well. With that in mind there will be two sections with points regarding each.

General Rules are basically the few things that are expected from guild members, read below to find out what they are!

Conduct of members within the Guild

? Council Members decisions should be respected, they look out for the well being of the guild.
? Treat others how you would wish to be treated.
? Racial or discrimination acts towards anyone will not be tolerated. If you feel a victim to these acts, contact a Council Member.
? Excessive swearing or other forms of hostile verbal communication to a single member will not be tolerated.
? Respect everyone’s classes. If you don’t like a class then keep it to yourself or discuss with the person privately your problems. Public discussion involving why a specific class might be bad will only fuel argument and upset people.
? Help one another; try to help guild members lower than you. Everyone remembers their first day and first experiences. Let’s help the lower level members settle in.

Conduct of members outside the Guild

? Treat people fairly and politely. We can’t expect people too treat and communicate people outside the guild in the same way. We can however give the guild a good image.
? Don’t treat people with any less respect than you would expect. Some players believe they are inferior due to the fact they are in a guild. This doesn’t bring the guild good reputation.
? Racial/Discrimination/Excessive swearing etc, already mentioned again should not be done/refrained from.
? Do not scam people.

General Rules

• Cheating/Hack exploits of any manner or form will not be tolerated.
• Guild Members are expected to try to participate in guild activities. Including Raids, Instances and PvP.
• Everyone should keep regular checks with the forums for events. If you sign up for an event, members should be expected to attend.
• Guild members are encouraged to group with Guild members, not only is it good experience, but it allows people to get to know each other.
• Finally look after each other, if you can provide assistance, armour and weapons to lower level characters then do so. It will make the guild stronger and also gain you respect and friendships.

Shiraz, you should make this thread and the looting rules thread "sticky" so they dont get bumbed down to page 10 after a while.
