Guardia 'SV'

Current version:

beta 6 - Download - 1 MB

Important Notes:
nothing atm.



Changes:

General:
- autocannons gone
- first passage double as wide
- no door between first passage and cavern
- removed ASMD in first room
- removed Flak ammo
- increased cavern length and width
- pulse room moved to right side of the cavern
- added Sniper + 2 ammo packs to the pulse room
- the bottle neck between bridge and cavern is gone, theres a connection about as wide as the cavern with a separating structure splitting it into two halves
- there are two birdges now connected in the middle
- added RL in front of the bridges
- added one pack of RL ammo on the first half of either bridge
- added ASMD on the connection of the two bridges
- new wide room between bridges, garage and mini room
- removed mini + 2 packs of mini ammo from mini room :rolleyes:
- added sniper + 2 ammo packs to the mini room
- new area in the map embracingthe garage area: first room between garage and mini room, second room is right to the tank room, and the third room is behind the tank room + 1 smaller room with a connection to the garage (hammer jumpable)
- flak cannon in the 'third room'
- moved around/removed/added boxes in the garage
- only 1 shock core there now
- shield eblt gone, minigun there instead
- 3 packs of mini ammo
- a bit of RL and pulse ammo
- thigh pads on another box
- lift is faster (also allows for more lift jumps) and crushes players that block it
- garage door is a little bit delayed and opens slower
- body armour added in front of the tank
- 1 more room and two additional routes for defneders into the garage from their last spawn (beta 6)

Spawnpoints: (attack vs defense)

before cavern:
Cave (Flak+Pulse) vs Cavern (Flak), pulse room (Pulse+Sniper), mini room (Sniper), on the route (ASMD+RL)

after cavern:
Cavern (Flak+Pulse+Sniper), on the way (RL) vs mini room (Sniper), Garage (mini), on the route (ASMD)

after lava bridges:
pulse room (Pulse+Sniper), on the way (ASMD+RL) vs new area (Flak), on the route (mini+Sniper)

-delete tighpads
-no flak in def room
-get asmd back!!!!
-delete shieldbelt nxt to tank

I agreee on the first two points.
ASMD well imo thats why AL, ][ and the original failed in a lot of peoples opinions.
shieldbelt next to tank is there to keep em alive longer, def only spawn in garage so shieldbelt there isnt such a mighty powerup as in the original guardia

Mind that a lot of the powerups like the thighpads will be attackers equipment when some objective are gone!

hmm armor for the attackers? dont know about that...
asmd is spam yes but we al love some spam @ a time
where does sv stand for?
hmm than replace belt with normal armor/pads

oh yeah another good point health of the tank :)
 
sobo i could kiss you thats the best 'guardia' ive ever played i can see it being a fun map for game modes :)

If there is to be a map vote this should be thought about it owns

attackers get some armour. ill prolly change it like this:

front armour deleted, maybe some vials instead
garage armour deleted, theyve got the Keg
shieldbelt will be replaced by a normal armour
central thigh pads will be deleted

flak wel i dunno def got hammer, enforcer, mini, rockets aint enough for em than the get pulse, asmd, and flag @ start

Right forgot that there also was a RL in the garage. :lol:

Ill be thinking about the Flak also.

opinions about the Flak in the Minigun room and bringing an ASMD back in/where pls. :D
 
No asmd belongs in any version of the guardia's imo (spammage).
You could put a ripper there instead of the body armor.
 
imho flak/rl spam is in many cases lots worse that shock spam, as u can spam around corners/ usually spam a lot more b4 u see opponents than with asmd...

adding extra weaps at the back for def sounds like a bad idea, will make gettin past bridges even harder (haven't actually tested the map yet, but i can imagine ;))

also ripper sounds like a bad idea; the ultimate "spam around corners weapon" :D

sniper is a good idea, always better to have the choise to hs ur way trough the map ;)

armor for attackers sounds good too :)
 
yeah flak = pure spam same like rockets and asmd
but like unseen said that flak and rocket can go around corners asmd cant so leave asmd or remove rocks ans flak too :P
but ripper is a good idea

ok played the map
where are the doors? just b4 bridge hallway to long

bridge alot better but you can c the room with the trigger
and well yeah connons gone :thumb:
 
good job :thumb: I really hope this map gets around online a lot soon, can't wait to play it. Looks like the best custom Guardia so far IMO.
