I am doing that United Devices Cancer thing. I was just wondering, is it bad for my CPU to have it going at max power for long periods of time?

One of my cpus has been running it at 100% near enough 24/7 since I started, not had any problems 
The computations alone don't damage the CPU.
A problem would be the resulting heat, so make sure that your CPU runs at reasonable temperatures.

Ive had it at 100% @ temps of 28 - 98 oC think a 116 is its record
Has a heatsink and a fan that cuts out sometimes then comes back on :/
