cant delete a folder

i cant delete a normal windows folder.

When i try to delete it, the error "Folder couldnt be found" occours.
Strangely. Inside that folder i can add/create/delete folders and files without probs.

I tried to delete it from inside windows and from command shell.

What i didnt tried yet and possible will tommorow, is to boot from a Linux CD and delete it there.

Any other way to get rid of it?

Which folder is it? When I googled it seemed application specific.

why do you want to get rid of a windows folder?
History told me a couple of times not to do that

its not THe windows folder, it's just A windows folder.
the folder is called cfox interactive\no one lives forever 2

Back in the days i had once problems with that too, but managed it somehow to erase it.
Unfortunally i forgot how exactly.

Anyway, the tool of of DB worked, although i had doubts. coz the folder wasnt blcoked by a handle, the system just couldnt find it.

What you could try next time is rename the folder to a shorter name then see if delete works.

nice idea, but i tried that too before i asked here.

Anyway, it is gone now
