before you ask, ya i did read all the threads with this type off title

Problem: brothers pc did run to fast so we used this fix: WindowsXP-KB896256-v3-x86-ENU.exe
problem was solved, now he installed some other things and it was fast again. We tried the fix again and all the drivers from here: http://cwdohnal.home.mindspring.com/utglr/

the openGL drivers did make the compu extremly slow: OpenGL resulted in about 20fps where 200 is reacheble and d3dr didn't do a thing. Online the prob also exsist (he just walks a bit fast and then stays still for a sec or so)

are there some other things to do???

Reinstall already done! didn't work

D3D8 didn't work? It did the trick for me. :x Test with sofware rendering to see if it makes any difference... that worked for a friend of mine but he was running it on a shitty laptop.

Is this offline or only online? Have you tried reinstalling?
