Heres my translation what beta tester wrote in finnish forums about UT2003 :

He thinks : To get 55-60+ fps in 1024x768x32 (very high detail) u would need this kinda specs :
Intel Pentium 2Ghz+ (Or 100% compatible)
512mb/+ DDR or RDRAM memory
Nvidia GeForce4 Ti 4xxx (Or another 3d card as fast as gf4ti's)

He gets 40+ fps (Medium detail - high texture resolution) 800x600x16bit
30fps ( all details high ) 800x600x16bit with :
Dell Optiplex GX1, 440BX mobo, 100Mhz FSB, 256mb SDRAM (100Mhz)
Intel Celeron "Tualatin" 1.2Ghz @ 1200Mhz (using powerleap adapter)
Creative 3DBlaster GeForce2MX/DDR/PCI (clocked 175 -> 190Mhz core & 286 -> 333Mhz memory)

Also he wrote that the fps is very stable, so it doesnt bounce up/down like in UT
+ theres a built in system that stables aiming even with fps dropping ( this uses extra cpu power )
Memory control is far better than in UT.
Atlest in UT2003beta version u can tweak twice as much as UT.
